Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs as well as from the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano hidden in the basement and bewildered by the sound it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to pursue music for development of her own, not to earn money or for an interest. As a result, she started writing the music she composed herself. Her sources include noted authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her affinity with Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her songs publicly when her mother said they could help people not to gain fame with her work but to make those around them see their own importance and how they could impact the world. At age 6, she began to play the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. This was not known to her family members until she turned fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. As she says, she simply enjoys writing songs. For her, music is the only way to feel anything.
