Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comic born on June 26 1984. April Ludgate is her role on Parks and Recreation. Her debut came on the Jeannie Tate Show the web series that focuses on sketches and improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. After her debut she went on to made appearances on Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's Vs. World. It is her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza who is an lawyer by trade and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother is Irish and English as was her father, who comes from Puerto Rico. Plaza is a graduate from the Catholic All-Girls School in 2002. She graduated in 2006 from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. When she was a senior in high school, Plaza was involved at Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student council. Plaza had a stroke 2004, while she was enrolled at the college. She developed expressive aphasia and suffered a brief period of paralysis. Now, she is completely healed. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy and a myriad of other styles at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. Also in New York City, she's appeared in stand-up shows in stand-up comedy at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza was a part of E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show alongside Ben Schwartz and also the first Terrible Decisions episode.
